Nine militants killed, 27 arrested in Pakistan's Swat Valley

Islamabad, Nov 18 : Nine militants were killed and several others injured in fresh strikes carried out by Pakistani security forces against the militants in various parts of Shabqadr in Swat Valley on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, one-security personnel was killed in the ongoing operation, The News reported.
According to ISPR, security forces launched fresh raids against the militants in various parts of Kabbal, killing nine militants and injuring several others. Operation continued in Akhondklay, Zor, Dagai and parts of Kabbal today (Tuesday).
In another incident, militants attacked a convoy of security forces in Kanju area in which on security personnel was martyred. Around 27 extremists have been arrested during search operation in the same area.
Sources told that two militants were killed in fire exchange in Mianklay area of Shabqadr tehsil.
