Punishment & Sex education

On one side, criminals should be punished in accordance with the law. On the other side proper sex education is very very important to growing up children. They must understand a pervert’s approach against them and the security and protection in which they are safe immediately if exposed. NGO’s and welfare & family ministry must go all out to educate our innocent children and parents about the importance of sex education to their children and defensive moves that includes a 24 hrs helpline for young children who is going through such trauma, which may provide them safety and security with immediate effect.

Hang Him

He is not called a man but creature. Just hang him. If not, there are no justice.

Rape is Rape. The judge was right in one thing. Acting out of revenge is wrong. Giveing anybody strokes tboot is also wrong. Then again i’m not Malay. When in Rome i suppose.

Funny. The judge cut the sentencing based on the age. There are people out there were sentenced to 150 years. Do you think the criminal will live that long?

restriction& bared

such a man shoud be bared or completly restricted from poeple, which the sentence should have sarved as that purpose, he is only going to stay where he will be fade throughout his lifetime while keeping him away from children to avoid reoccurance

yes that man is realy evil and deserve to well punished, and he should be treated like and animal for behaving like such.

But honestly i think some judges also needed to understanding of some things.

Laws and punishments are meant to helppeople realize their mistakes and keep away from them and not a revange for to their errors in life.
That being so why should we be talking about 75years or even 50years, for Gods sake when this person realize his mistakes where will he live to help the youths and other who might go his way to change?

So i think they should be reasonable when sentencing people to jail so that the person might be reformed and and still live to tell the story not indirectly ending his life in jail.

Judges are like perents and should give all purnishment with mercy and love.

Rehab

I agree with WOOD, although reality is a very different thing. There is not much point locking someone up their whole life, all they become is a burden on society, there is no rehabilitation involved. In fact all across the world most jails act as storage facilities as opposed to rehab centres, if we could actually come up with a way to help people when they went into jail we might have a more forgiving and trusting society. Of course most people don’t want to spend their time helping and counselling perverts and deviants. But it these children who are abused when they are young who grow up and push their pain onto someone else half the time. Stop the cycle.. its a societal thing, we must change our attitudes towards women’s rights in our country. Too many eastern states literally get away with murder.

This is sad...

Nowadays, the world,including our own home is no longer a safe place, is a jungle. Rape is not just a women’s issue. Rape is everyone’s issue. Men too can get raped. Honestly, rapist are the weakest people in the world bcoz they did not have the ability to control their sexual desire.

Education

This is not the first incident, it happened many in Malaysia. All did received deter punishment but it doesn’t stop or decreased. So the Government ,Religious group should set these as top priority and Education also should come in to do a reform and change those with human body but animals brain cells doing disgusting act.

Malay dilemma

This seems to be happening more with the Malays

Just to save the 10% cost of using expressways, don’t the government know that they might be excepting more fatal accidents on their hand. And how much do one fatal accident cost to the government? These are the time when most of us humans sleep and rest. Do anyone want to risk their life and the lives of their families just to save a few RM? I suggest that the government should give 10% discount to all motorists for whatever time they travel on the expressways.

I agreed with Mat Ismail. Reported cases seems to be happening with the Malays. I think its about time to change the charges of rape cases. Need to look into this urgently. One is never enough to the rapist..they don’t have to pay...

Disgusting Act

FATWA - Should setup a good programs to educate the youth and school to put more efforts on right attitude towards Sex Education. I would suggest immediately put a stop on allow Internet Cafe in Resident Area. I personlly see groups of young Muslim age below 10 surfing pron web site inside the cafe. This is sadden and sickening incident.

EDUCATION

Deter punsihment doesn’t help. We should look into the source of the problem. Internet Cafe is one of the reason. Stop allowing Internet Cafe operate in the Resident Area. They should be in the Shopping Complex and Tourist Area. Don’t see any reason why it allow Resident Area to operate Internet. As we can agreed, all of the Internet Cafe operate at Resident Area is either Gaming otherwise you can see goup of youngster gather in one corner surfing Pron Web Site.

The Judge should have allowed the young girl to determine the punishment....

With the new 30 year sentence he will be 78 when he is released if he survives that longin jail. He must still undergo 24 strokes of the rotan, and this will be an extremely painful and permanent reminder of what he has done. So with the 24 strokes and a 30 year sentence, I think that the judge has made a good decision.
