Anti-abortionists believe the cause will be lost under Obama
Karachi News.Net Tuesday 18th November, 2008
Anti-abortion activists in the US are changing course to focus on building social programs and other assistance for pregnant women to reduce the number of abortions.
Activists, tired of waiting to overturn the controversial Roe v. Wade law, have put aside their efforts to outlaw abortion and are pushing for Congress to provide pregnant women with health care, child care and money for education.
The activists have realized their anti-abortion efforts will not be successful, in part due to Barack Obama's victory this month in the presidential election and the defeat of several ballot measures that would have restricted access to abortions.
Obama supports abortion rights and is unlikely to appoint justices who would overturn the Roe v. Wade decision that allowed the practice.
Although the activists have insisted they are not retreating from their belief that abortion is immoral, they are now arguing that a more practical alternative is to try to reduce abortions through other means.

Oh yeah, we are walking around ripping out fetus every chance we get. That is exactly what we do. Morons. How stupid are you? Let the woman and her physician decide. We make a big deal about abortion, but we bomb. It becomes collateral damage. Are they not humans. I don’t see the same nut jobs picketing at Military bases. I think more lives are killed by Military personnel than abortion. Abortion is a personal choice by the woman. If you want to do something about it. Talk to the prostitutes who walk the streets. That is not cool to talk to the prostitutes, because she might recognize them.

"Conservatives” are now pushing the government for more money and funding. This is like an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Hurray. I whole heartedly agree with them this time. Building social programs in order to reduce the need for abortions is great :). An abortion is generally a traumatic experience, and any social programs which make it easier for a woman with a child without resulting to an abortion is a great thing. (Just for the record, I don’t condone the outlawing of abortions)

Abortion in my mind is a very personal thing for woman whether right or wrong. Man should butt out. The argument will go on for decades.

Camm? Okay so one of you thinks. Nope it stays.
Abortion is murder there is only one exception to the rule in any society. It has become nothing more than a means of birth control. Most democrats agree with that, unless you bring up Roe V. Wade. Then it becomes political not personla or medical, so who really causes that problem?
Investing in the health care can’t possibly be wrong, even those who fall thru the cracks would benefit. How did the conservatives really insult you this time? Too bad. And keep it. I said have it can I have all calls now?

Baby's are complete helpless and innocent lives

A life is not a personel choice the decision was made when someone decided to have sex and was not properly protected this is nothing more then abdication of responsibilty.
We see this mindset running rampant in American society with the bailouts and the two parties finger pointing!
60 MILLION children aborted in the US alone.
That good sirs is real genocide.
How do you think the average Amercan came to not caring about dead Iraqis?
If you can pull the plug in babies by sucking the brain out of a partially born baby and teuthenizing the elderly it makes it much easier to blast an Iraqi or someone the powers that be decide is the new enemy.
Next comes the American people being called AlQeada and euthenized by their own troops all on course with the club of Rome.
How else can you lower carbon emmisions by 60%?
Destroy industry and remove 60% of the population.

Man but out ... ., seems wrong by a lot!
Men, and for sure this man, says a woman must decide in her own freedom! And as CITIZEN do and will vote for each woman having her right to decide.
Now Bout the crybabies hollering about some sort od loss! Just what is their 'LOSS'?
Is Obama going to force any of the losers to lose a baby? No of course not! Is he going to force any of the losers to have a baby? Again of course not! Is any action of Obama going to force someone’s god to condemn them? Of course not!
The only forcing in the issue, is on the part of those attempting to impose their wills on other Citizens!
Take your choice and go live happily with it! Maybe your god will bless you! Let the others find their god through your good examples, not your might or forcings!
